Shibo’s metalworking fluid penetration paper was accepted in the Journal of Manufacturing Processes. This was the product of his MS research that built off Andres’ PhD dissertation. A model like this is missing in the literature and even thought the model is not ‘simple’ (despite our best efforts to make it simple) we expect that it will be useful to others trying to study this problem.
